QoTD: I love Izuku. He's a sweetheart and a genuinely good guy, but he doesn't carry the show for me. The weight comes from characters like Shoto and his family: the pain, the pressure, the way you start to darken just to be seen. He's not loved for who he is, but for his "perfect" quirk. Then there's Toya—Todoroki’s whole family is a case study in how bad parenting can break people in different directions. Katsuki, Tomura, Toga, Eri, Hawks, they all hit me harder.

It's the shared experience, growing up in dysfunction, trying to be better, hurting anyway. Hawks especially, the way he sees the cracks in the system, how he moves through gray zones to protect what others overlook. He learned young that no one's coming to save you unless you become that someone.

Even Endeavor. I don’t like his past mistakes, but I can appreciate the fact that he's trying. He knows he was a failure as a father and husband. He wants to make amends even if he never gets forgiveness. That hits different when you've been through it and never got that. My father never changed then passed. When they die, there are no more chances and you're left feeling like you never had a parent. You don't stop hoping they'll get it someday, but someday never comes for some.

This series carries its weight on the backs of the broken. And that's what makes it matter to me. Sorry it is so long. O~O'
