I used to not like Iida a lot 💔 in the first few seasons I figured he was just the token nerdy guy character that needs to be humbled, with the Hero Killer arc being where he gets humbled, but I started to like him a lot more once he actually grew as a character and started breaking more of the "nerdy side character" type and fell into a real role that had meaning and depth, especially in season 7
