In the 5th Harry Potter movie, Sirius Black refers to Harry as "James," his dad, instead of his actual name. Since Harry was so much like his dad that Sirius pointed it out multiple times, it really hurt to see the rest of the movie. 😭

In MHA, shigaraki and deku had the same exact aspirations, but it showed how personal choices and adults in your life can change the way you view the world. Your backstory has nothing to do with if you choose to do good or evil, and it's a wonderful representation of that.
