Here's a little story that will answer that question. My brother used to think that Eggman is a lame villain & I always tell him that he's wrong. But one day, he played Sonic Unleashed & he saw the opening cutscene. After he saw that specific cutscene, he went to me & told me this to my face: "You were right, bro. Eggman is a cool villain."
