There's a few things that kind of hit me about it (I turned 18 in april) this year specifically. One was when my friends sister (13) started talking to a boy my age, and I saw from the perspective of an adult for the first time. It's like actually so weird to me. Another was quite a while back when I was on a trip with the youth group at my church (at 17) and I realized that the younger group of kids was talking about the stuff I'm interested in (minecraft, games, and fnaf) while the kids my age were talking about perfume and stuff like that. I like good smells, but I just don't have a lot in common with "mature" people. Idk, it's just so weird to me
