I would remove ambition. People can still be motivated by love, fear, desires, and pain without being ambitious, thus it won't have as big of an impact comparatively speaking. Love, pain, and fear, however would have a big effect. Without love society would look very different, without fear people would do crazy things without a care to their own well being, and without pain people can't tell when they are getting burned. Thus I think ambition would be the least chaotic and safest one to remove from the options.
