This is my first ever charcoal drawing 🕺

For a first charcoal drawing you did great! My only tips are
• If you want shading you can use your finger, a paper towel, or a blending stump to ‘smudge’ the charcoal around
• if you want a section to be more bright, feel free to erase! It makes the darker areas appear more dark sometimes
• white charcoal exists and can be beneficial for really bright spots and is really great on black or dark paper!

This is just some leftover stuff I had (I got some bad news and wanted to vent via art), but I'll definitely look into doing it more seriously cause it was fun
