I don't think its most people, but having spent 7 years in concert / marching band throughout middle and high school has definitely trained my mind and ears for music. I pick up on beats and time signatures and all those little details that may be lost on people around me. At least that's how it is with my husband, he doesn't understand how I notice all that stuff lol.
