I know you were asking someone else, but if I could give my two cents, it’s a mess from an objective point of view. There’s a lot it wanted to do and the creators were unsure if they would get a second season, so they crammed a bunch of stuff in 8 episodes. It’s very rushed and shallow in a lot of areas, but has some banger individual moments. We don’t really see a ton of the characters’ progress in redemption and some get shafted pretty hard, like one who has probably the coolest backstory, but doesn’t get much of her own characterization. In conclusion, the pilot was just better
