Just reading the phrase "positive mental attitude" from a deviantart artist in late middle / early high school. It's helped me gain a better perspective on my life and is kind of a mantra that I live by. You just gotta keep that positivity, because being down about things all the time won't solve anything.

I couldn’t consider this direct advice, but the phrase “Never give up.” My friend would say this a lot before he passed from Brain cancer when we were both young. It’s a nice reminder of him when things get hard.

The most helpful advice I have ever recieved is—Passion is the culmination of love and hate, and unless you have passion for the things you do, don't do it.

What this means is; If you blindly love something you might just wait for it to work out till the end of time, but if you also hate the fact that you haven't made any progress yet, then it will drive you further.

This advice has singlehandedly contributed the most in my life. For me personally, it was more beneficial financially then romantically, but I think it has some romantic applicability too.

Anyway, its because of this advice that I can work hard without ever feeling burnt out.
