Its the third planet from the sun. Its a world where destruction and rebirth coexist, with no old rules being valid anymore. The planet that the game takes place in.
⟢・ The Lament
Its the general term of all the disasters in Sol-3. The planet started to face changes when the first Lament occured and it still continues. Basically "Finality" from Honkai in some way. Its purpose is to restart human civilization and reshape the world.
⟢・Waveworn Phenomenon
The destructive anomalies caused by The Lament, such as Tacet Fields, Tacet Discord Outbreaks and the matter called Tacetite. All of these anomalies happening in Sol-3 goes under the category called Waveworn Phenomenon.
The other anomalies that occured because of The Lament are: the formation of Etheric Sea, Tacet Fields, Retroact Rain, Blizzard and gravity loss.
⟢・Tacet Fields
They are fields where Tacet Discords originate from. These fields feature a sky of inverted seas and a cross-shaped Tacet Mark on the ground. These areas attract Tacet Discords.
⟢・Tacet Discords
Shortly also know as TDs, are dangerous entities/monsters created by the Waveworn Phenomenon. They posses Tacet Cores (also known as Reverberation) and feed on frequencies to maintain stability and evolve. These creatures mimic their prey in terms of abilities, shape and behaviors.
⟢・Tacetite
A substance that can permanently contain the energy of the Remnant. When modified, it becomes a potent energy weapon for Resonators, able to harm the TDs. They are the golden-black stones you can find in the world. Its a source of energy and a part of The Lament/Waveworn Phenomenon.

The energy that Tacetite can contain. They are contained in a condensed space also known as Sonoro Sphere. They are believed to be pure and complete information energy. It's invisible and intangible. Cannot be captured, sampled or analyzed. When Remnant decays it will become a Reverberation.

The Waveworn Phenomena can alter matter, information and energy by converting them into vibrating frequencies and the frequency energy that remains and continues to decay afterwards is known as Reverberation.

SPOILERS ||They are formidable creatures with the power to destroy human spirit and feed off their collapsed will. WuWa devs is the perfect example of why you shouldn't always listen to the players

They listened too damn much and look where it got them. They developed these stories, elemental reactions(yes, wuwa was supposed to have elemental reactions like genshin's but they scrapped it due to ppl complaining that it's like genshin, now we have a useless elemental system), gloom world and environment, the Chixia scene thing etc. only for them to scrapped or change it just because of loud minority complaints. It just shows that they had zero confidence and a lack of spine and vision. Now, due to these so many changes and they're taking priority over the normal flow, bad things are gonna happen: deadlines will be rushed, corners will be cut, game issues, bugs, etc. That's why this game got poor optimization, poor localization and dubbing, and a lot of issues, bugs, and mistranslations.
Ppl hate how genshin devs ignore the community but that's prob for the best in 90% of the time plus it's their game they know their game more than we do, can't say the same to wuwa devs tho

I think those are highly specific examples that only represent opinions that some portion of users hold. I don’t care that it doesn’t have elemental reactions and I’m glad it doesn’t because it sets it apart from genshin in this sense. The poor localizations and rushing overall has nothing to do with just listening to the community??? The executives do not care about that… they have plenty of vision and it’s not a lack of spine that makes them go this way. It’s the executives deciding what sells and what doesn’t.
Listening to the community is such a vague concept too.. people want a higher cap on reisin for years and them listening to the community on that would not hurt the game in a negative light

I also kind of agree with Megas that how listening to the community has nothing to do with the game's localization issues and such. Majority of the game was clearly rushed.
Though this launch doesn't mean the game is doomed to fail. If Kuro actually tries and not make anymore stupid and amateur mistakes, they can still save the game.
Since the game has huge potential. They did create something good but having a hard time to keep it stable.
I mean look at PGR, I read how the release for PGR was horrible aswell. Look at them now, they have no problems and even still rather successful.
Also again, lets not defend Genshin's dev team now just because Kuro overlistening to feedback is a bad thing.
HSR and HI3 dev team listens to feedback a lot time to time and implement new features or QoL, even stuff we didn't ask for.
Thats what the players want, Genshin does none of that. Even if they do, it takes them years to do it.
