Definitely lore I don’t see the point in playing a game based on looks alone. If a game doesn’t have good story, world building and/or lore then what’s the point of playing. Unless it’s one of those turn off your brain and play with your friends games.

Definitely lore. The question is basically asking graphics vs lore, not gameplay. And I mean to me if a game has no story but looks good, there's not much point to it lol. Besides even when we disregard everything else and go for aesthetics OG hack and slash games look better than new shooters so modern ain't always better
