My family used to. Not really anymore since I moved out and there’s been a lot of money issues. I think our only real holiday (mainly Christmas) tradition is going to church and opening the few presents everyone can afford to get each other and eat a meal and then go our separate ways for the evening.
I CANT.
I go to a seafood restaurant with my grandpa

Christmas, Easter, Anzac Day, Remembrance Day, & Halloween (I keep it going 🥲, my dad hates it & my mum doesn't really care)

We used to visit my uncle's place for Christmas Eve most years. It's since stopped quite a while ago as everyone got older.
I miss those gatherings so much.
Yea, usually on special holidays, we go to multiple friend's houses and eat, but we have to do in one day, and in one day, we (my family) go to about 8-10 houses

Martial arts
we go to Gdańk every christmass
we used to write letters to santa and then my father would burn them so they could be sent

Not really
not getting their children any presents
Yes! Me and my brother have recently been doing these Christmas pranks, where we’d buy a joke gift for each other. The first time was with food (usually it’s with food XD) and I got him a cheese stick, and he got me an avocado (hoping I’d do the “it’s an avocado! Thanks..!” Meme, which I totally did 😎)
Another year he set me up on a scavenger hunt around our house, it had riddles and ciphers and everything! He ended up giving me a pineapple at the end as the prize 🤣 (I got him a block of cheese, just cheese, he hates cheese 😅)
And last year, he tried pranking me with an Oreo challenge, putting toothpaste in one and had me try to guess which was the altered Oreo, referencing the battle of wits from “The Princes bride,” it failed so horrendously that I didn’t do the bit, and I even liked the toothpaste Oreo because I like mint! 😭
So this year, we’re redoing the battle of wits, whichever brother looses is the pranked one, and the other wins bragging rights 😂
Kinda, every year my fam does the same thing, wake up, eat food, talk for a few, go do your own shit, dinner, presents, movie, sleep (or lack there of for me)
Roast. Also for the prev QOTD my fav song is Jingle Bell Rock
Eating apple and honey, it's a Hungarian tradition

i mean, back when i lived with my mom, (before i moved away from here ab a ... 2 weeks ago? i think?? anyways-) me and her and my brother and stepdad would always watch the nightmare before christmas and it would ALWAYSSSSS turn into a debate over if it was more of a christmas movie or halloween movie (same thing happened on halloween as well lol)
find the pickle: my mom hides a pickle and whoever finds it first gets 20$
Tea time
Every night I prepare tea and snacks for the whole family
It was and it is! I’m excited for this year’s prank! >:D ✨
