Re:Zero such an amazing anime but dear god it mentally hurt me so much
Is it on Netflix?
Idek
Oof
Not in my country
What animes are scary 😭
AOT when the titan ||ate Eren’s mom||
Then I doubt it will be in mine..
I think it was meant to say scarred not scary
jjk but the manga specifically 🙏🏾
Ohhh
Damn
Cyberpunk Edgrunners is another one I can think of
I think one that scarred me was actually MHA like some shit discussed was kinda sad and traumatizing especially when certain people died :(((
idk i cant rlly think of one
banana fish
closest is probably Yasuke
Tokyo ghoul
Tokyo Ghoul
i havent finished Tokyo Ghoul but it probably will by the end
That one with the stairs and umbrella uhh… I couldn’t go on stairs with an umbrella in hand for too long
💀
None why would it
Legit “Princess Mononoke” or “Mononokehime” || I was 5 when I watched it and I got scared of the deer creature and some guy who shot people’s heads off with an arrow. Yes, I’m gonna watch it again because I know little me was probably being dramatic||
Oh I think I found the name, another
Parasite
||Im was 6 when im watch it :)||
None of them
Idk 🤷♀️
I've never seen a horror anime so I can't answer
Danganronpa
My daughter was all into Seraph of the End and she watches full on horror movies so she doesn't really even get scared about stuff but there was a particular scene I think on season 2 and she was disturbed by it. I watched that scene to see what it's all about even though I never watched that show. I did read the manga. I will say it was much worse on the anime than in the manga.
Attack on Titan, it’s not scary at all but I watched it as a child and I had nightmares really easily and it caused me to have nightmares lol
Idk why but I don't like gore alot (ik the blood was pink but still) and it kinds spooked me put
oh there are specific scenes in JoJo that kind of have
and one very specific Demon Slayer scene that most people have probs forgotten abt
demon slayer
I've only watched 2 anime's so far soo
i dont know i watch most of the time feel good anime]
The promised neverland
none
Made in abyss
promised neverland or oshinoko
None necessarily scarred me, but Tokyo ghoul was a little disturbing but not enough to traumatize me
Blood C
Parasite
Perfect Blue
The Corpse Party anime
Aot
Devilman
The Promised Neverland Season 2. Not because it was scary or anything, but because of the adaptation. All I wanted was the lead up to Goldy Pond Arc and the introduction of Yugo
and the manga adaptation of || The actual reunion of Norman and Emma being so much more emotional || but NOPE we got flying fish and some speedrun of the series 😔
aot and the promised neverland
The Portrait of Little Cossette
scums wish
Never watched an anime that scarred me nor really scared me but i’ve seen clips of princess monoke and some parts make me really squeemish but that happens to me in every anime that has some sort of action because not just gross stuff makes me squeamish stuff like injuries do that too but not bc gruesome bc i think abt hiw much it would hurt and ahhhhhh
Redo of healer ☠️☠️☠️ , it scared the living shi out of me , honestly, a friend requested me to watch it tho , I couldn't stand it for a minute
AKAME GA KILL!! BRO-
definitely yeah TT
Ummmmmm. Idk
I get nervous with some shows but never really scared with anime ones.
Devilman crybaby
attack on titan 😭 i was like 8 when my dad first showed it to me
Devilman lmao.
Tokyo ghoul
Tokyo ghoul, i only made it till ep 5 and then quit watching it.
Beastars.... because that's how I started watching anime actually
it was also my first manga. rereading it it's actualy really great. NOT for beginners
why is it that animanga fans have an idea that people new to anime cant watch certain anime
some weird anime that my friend sent to me (i cant remember its name but )
like fym "beginner friendly"
Tokyo ghoul, I finished it but, I took a long break, I couldn’t help but feel so sick when kaneki was being tortured 😞
Like ew, the centipede?
Ew the nails?
ew ew ew
Death note
Don’t have one
JJK soon
One piece when… im gonna get banned when i say it do never mind
I don’t have one I’ve liked all the anime I’ve watched
Death Note
I don’t get scared easily by images so none 🤷♀️
I mean for some reason watching Beastars as my first anime truamatized me the way if it was somethn like haikyuu wouldn't have. I'ts real I promise you
EXACTLY. YOU UNDERSTAND ME FUUU-
None
I haven't gotten scared from anime but scarred I guess emotionally, one piece?
Devil man crybaby was one definitely
I haven’t really watched any anime’s
none
maybe it's because it's a furry anime or something
I don't really have one
well, more like the absoluteley dark themes that I was not used to seeing so blatantly out. murder in highschool? give me a break!
I'm honestly trying to think of others but between crappy memory and being more used to gore these days and messed up story lines not a lot comes to mind. I even watched angels of death and as weird as that one was the English adaptation was hilarious with the dialogue in parts tbh
isnt that the whole plot of danganronpa
Some of jinjo ito and shoujo tsubaki (havent watched it but from what ive read-)
Also yeah beastars is...dark in places I mean one of the students literally ate the other
i thought that was normal behaviour
😂
ok new zealand
I luv ur name
Lmao thankyou
I've got a friend in another server who was shigarakis eyebrows at some point
holy shit cortex from crash bandicoot
I💀
what
I did not watch nor play it.
Man I genuinely can't think of any more animes that like scarred me although I'm fairly sure there were a few when I was younger I think I either got over it or it got blocked out with dragon ball and my love of Vegeta
Idk if there was an anime that scarred me,but I think there was a scene where this girl gets eaten and she got killed in an anime
It was my first anime too
Also there's junji ito anime now?! I kinda wanna watch it
doesnt a girl get killed in every anime
L
huh
Not always no
Yea,but this way was stuck in my mind
boring!!!!
K
i swear in pokemon the girl character dies
roblox eating sound
Anyway I can think of some particular scenes that scarred me from no name anime scenes that messed me up but they're a little to graphic to describe and it show cause it's not like off screen it shows it I just chose to never watch those again and eraser them from my brain much as I could
never watch kingsman
Not really cause of blood at all more so just the method in which death was administered to a character
Blood don't bother me
And there was another one where these people get killed by a demon that eats people
Don't know probably mha
your pfp is aot bro 😭
Like they were screaming
Yea and I love it
how long ago did you watch this other one
The one with the magical girl? Umm it was my first anime I watched in middle school
This was called Madoka Magica and someone that liked anime recommended it to me
I dunno if I can watch attack on Titan tbh just doesn't seem like my vibe though it's got some good ass voice lines one of my favorite is "she knows what a shitty person I am and yet she still smiles at me"
it's good if you can look past the fact that the anime drags season 4 on for so fucking long
i havent even watched season 4 because i just gave up on waiting and read the manga from the point the anime paused
Berserk should be good, however there are gory mangas that I've read, those haven't affected me not one bit
I remember skipping AOT cuz I didn’t like it back then because of all the deaths and I was still in middle school. Now it’s one of my favorites
Also yeah madoka magica is...one I probably won't watch because it just feels overly dark to me like I can handle dark and even like it sometimes but to much is to much. Its part of why I haven't watched some of the newer parts of mha it took a little to much if a dive into that deep end and I will watch it eventually but for now I'm salty over things
fictional things dont bother me that much
true
the dark movie ice berg scarred me more
I watched everything
every second
without skipping
my stomach endured all the weakening horrors
Its not really the deaths that bother me just I've watched parts and while some of its cool looking it don't hit my brain right enough to make me wanna pay attention if that makes any sense. I'm sure it's fantastic but I probably won't watch it alone at least it's easier to binge a show with someone
I was sensitive to that stuff and as I got older I started liking it. The characters, the action. I loved it all
what "hits your brain right"
personally i dont want anything to hit my brain
it has no dents and is smooth and perfect
To put it in perspective it takes me damn near a full day to watch like maybe 2 1 hour episodes if that cause I kept getting distracted
do you have adhd
The funny thing is I never know till it hits lol
Yes along with many fun other little things cause I have tourretes which is a neurological disorder lmao
oof
Oof indeed
damn
K?
potassium
I dislike bananas
Yet I like banana bread
Anyway back to anime
I think what "scars" me in anime is like less related to character death and more so just unfair bs happening that ends up being canon like a character having such an emotional story and helping everyone only for some crap like she's destined to be forgotten or erased from existence so no one's ever going to remember her by the end of the movie like
What was the point of the movie then
err you should take this to gateway or something
Yeah sorry kinda strayed from the topic
The last season of castlevanina
Gotta be real with you
It's made in Japan, but I wouldn't call it an anime per se
im not rlly scared of any anime, maybe cuz i dont watch scary animes but
aot maybe?
its just the way they… om nom nom

ehhh i wouldnt say it scared or scarred me but it was pretty wild and it was devilman crybaby
Berserk
I didn't see that much anime, none has scared me yet
not really scared for life but deff made me cry of fear AHEM corpse party
scarred means injured
anyways, none of the animes scared me though i watch horror
Thank you, Watson.
NO I SAID IT BECAUSE I WAS GENIUNELY CONFUSED
Scarred for life in this context means you're emotionally traumatised
None I think
Uhm there was 1 BL manga but i forgot what it was called

probably SAO, the first season was pretty scary, trapped in a game for years..
Monster girl doctor

A couple years before I began to watch anime, I was in a writing class and the kid next to me was watching the first episode of Attack on Titan ||(where the mother dies)|| next to me and that scared me for a while.
However, I have actually watched AOT and am no longer scared, but that is my story.

SAO and Evangelion
chainsaw man and aot(not traumatized but they were creepy)
Another, and the torture scene from Tokyo Ghoul TvT
Another and honestly Castlevania did for certain parts…
