what's a trope? 💀
🗿
skeleton
2nd 🥳
What's a trope
When the Skeletons break out into dance or something
THAT'S WHAT I SAID 😭
what is a trope again though
Want to know man
its like a cliche, or something that happens in a lot of media, idk if i explained it the best
Hmmm didn't understand
Just to know it's a cliche
i still don't understand
Oooooh
Oh ok
I dont have one💀💀
me neither
"And no matter what happens, I love y-"
proceeds to die
"let's split up and look around"
As they proceed to get picked off by the killer one by one
Body swapping
That's a genre isn't it
Or the one person with common sense who wants to live but ends up dying because of the others incompetence
The obvious tripping over super small shit
Horror tropes are like when the bad guy jumps back up for another yell when he obviously would've been dead
Or "lets go out to a horrible cabin!"
Or the local warning them away from going to camp etc
Or running upstairs. Lol
I dunno
I mainly just like with a movie makes fun of that type of stuff
“I think we should split up”
Eye trap.
Smoking a cigarette with sunglasses on while slow motion walking away from an explosion in the background lol.
Action, not horror, but still. It works
Micheal Myer knife
What's a trop?
hiding a zombie bite and entering a safe area
Oh yeah love that one
I really like “Oh my god there’s a murderer on the loose who kills someone every time they split from the group! I’m so freaked out that I just can’t be near anyone and I am now going to leave the group. Nothing bad will come of this move!”
XD
I got war flashbacks from your yosano pfp
slasher trope
scary stories to tell in the dark
turning around, asking is anyone there into the darkness, turning back, and then monster jumpscare
Like dumb main character having nerdy computer hacking best friene
It's like genres but more inside
Inside the show*
Like deku and bakugo are "rivals". Rival Trope
But as for the question, probably the murder mystery trope
stupid friend is murderer
People fully knowing that some scary shit is up with that haunted place/artifact/ritual and yet they still go there/touch/take/do it anyway
Meow?
When the main character trips over air
Hides behind a wall or a corner thinking it's safe
When the main cast split up.
when you read a cursed book and it possesses your eye and turns into a giant flying monster that shoots rocket projectiles

I dont watch horror
Impossible houses, like the lounge in the shining couldn’t physically exist because it made no sense shot after shot all without pointing attention to it
Mazes would shrink in sizes and windows would lead to interior rooms
Hallways would be connected to nowhere
Another good one is actual smart adults making smart decision
Losing their cool against someone supernatural but trying their best anyways
There’s nothing cheesy about what I mentioned oops
Anywho
when the main character CLEARLY sees blood and other weird creepy stuff in their new apartment and STILL refuses to move out
oh and then they go in the attic and their old toy is posessed
no noor was first
wtf is a trope
It’s like something you could see in different movies
A love triangle is a popular trope
In the case of horror movies, someone looks in a mirror then something appears behind them
😌
I should change the . To first
I could delete the . so they’d be first
Mind games murder spree (saw series)
so real xoxo lets marry pookie
the clueless guy
Brave white man vs scared, reasonable scared black man
The person who’s being chased keeps falling
Puzzle based sequences where the protagonists and the others just keep failing.
Aye LEZZGOO ❤️🔥🗡️

hiding under beds
Its not rly cheesy but annabelle
idk
Discovering other worlds
Don’t have one
murder mystery/haunted house
A dumbass dying in the first second, always makes me laugh
Contrary to popular belief i love it when its the dumbass thats the final girl

people doing dumb shit in movies (like running into the one that chases them or doing exactly what they are not supposed to do)
yess
idk if a trope but that one lanky tall character bc they’re silly
I’m with raichu on this.
jack skellington
my beloved
Splitting up to look for danger 💀💀 so stupid bruh
I love those trucks/utes with the shitty fake bodies in the back idk why
not just jack skellington any tall lanky guy
"Lets split up and find the killer!!"
YOU ARE GOING TO DIE
Lol... "I'll show you what a staff infection is!"
Masked killers. Gives them something iconic that associates with them. Jason’s Hockey Mask, Ghost Face, Michael Myer’s etc. Idk I just like it.
Fr
It’s funny when they do really stupid things like they’ve never watched a horror show of their own before😭
Splitting up
"Oh! Let's go do the exact opposite of what that person said. Instead of staying here and being safe, let's go see if anyone else is around! 🤓"
i can't watch Halloween movies cause strict parents
The mother fucker that goes “he’s right behind me isn’t he”
the main characters get a bad feeling when they go somewhere
but they still go
I love that 😭
