If you only know English, learning ASL is pretty sweet. A silent means of communication is scarily convenient, and lets ya learn more about the deaf and hard of hearing communities

Also, since the creator of American sign language was french, the entire grammar structure of ASL is french, so if you wanted to learn French afterwards, it's a loooot easier

An obvious answer would be English seeing how its mostly spoken all over the world at this point, but other than the obvious:

French or Spanish both have reaches all over the world, Japanese would be some of the worse seeing as how inclusive it is. Not all over the country.
