I had a random idea that totally sounds nerdy, and half if this is at the top of my head

When you turn a certain age, you can choose to go into a fictional world of your choosing, or you can stay in our world, when you go you loose all your memories accept your name and coming there from a different world. You also get the position of your choosing
(Like if you went into MHA, you'd chose your quirk (or quirkless) and where you go)
