I’ll always love how willing he was to give Momo her chance to prove herself during the practical exam.

You also get a moment where he tells Hagakure he was worried for her after the Forest Training Camp and when they were moving into the dorms, then telling her she can always come talk to him if she needs anything.

Like, whoever came up with the idea for the Hero Diaries needs a raise.

Then Mina and Jiro ask her if she wants to train with them by playing hide-and-seek.

You also get Jiro, Kaminari, Mina, Kirishima, and Hagakure going to karaoke together.

Ochaco, Mina, and Hagakure following Aizawa to see what he’s doing, only to learn he’s just looking for a cat he’d found earlier so he can feed it.

Part of me just wants to say these are all canon to the manga and anime just because of how good they are.

But the best of them all in that chapter was when Sero gets out and everyone thinks Shoto won for his team. Present Mic realizes there’s someone missing from the sidelines, and everyone turns back to see the dodgeball start apparently floating.

Once Shoto realizes Hagakure is still in (having once again gone full stealth mode), he tries to defend himself but is blinded by Warp Refraction and hit, meaning she won the game for her team.

I also love that they put her on the team with Mina, Jiro, and Ojiro.

I always thought those were the three who supported her the most.

The class was able to use their Quirks without issue.

Mina tricked Ida by making him think something was wrong, then letting Sero hit him with the ball.

Mineta allows Yaoyorozu to hit him in the face with the ball, giving a creepy look as they both leave the field.

That’s one of the two main chapters from the spin-off I want to see adapted the most.
