gameplay-wise it depends on what you like. very flashy, standard hack-and-slash game so if that's not your thing rip. you gotta read a lot more than genshin to understand the skills of the characters so it'll be understandable if you don't know how to use certain characters, happens. they utilize combos a lot more than genshin for optimal damage, also there's no usage jumping in combat. personally hack and slash games usually aren't my thing, but other elements of the game have my interest
in story modes you will get like a [few] more really cool unique experiences with gameplay where it's like "tap this to jump" and it's a whole cutscene using the in-game models like genshin except it's actually interactive.
the newer stories are open-world (aka rip phone), but i think in terms of how they formatted the in-game stories from before, it's better. before it was sort of like your standard visual novel where there is a singular camera angle during dialogue, but they use 3d models and have a set of actions they apply to the models to express things. now there are a variety of camera angles during dialogue to fit the mood of the setting. since their models are quite limited, they have some illustrations that are styled as the in-game models (for usually turning point parts of the arc) to better capture the mood. ALSO they have CGs for critical parts of the story, which effectively utilize music (v big point, their music is great), camera angles, action sequences, character expressions, etc., for executing the story.
