Albedo:
1 - Obviously, he's the most due character for a rerun, which isn't evidence on it's own but it's definitely noteworthy.
2 - Lorewise (leaks) ||next update we're getting some beasts created by Gold, the Alchemist from Khaenri'ah, which relates back to Albedo for multiple reasons not limited to his origins or the fact when he was introduced was dragonspine, which had Durin sealed away.|| So it would make sense to rerun him then if that's where theyre going with it, potentially give him an Act II to his story quest.

Potential Counterpoint: They could be doing like with Klee and saving him for a future event, maybe a pseudo sequel to Chalk Prince and the Dragon. However I doubt this.

Ganyu:
1 - She's the second most due.
2 - Moonchase festival, seems like a given there we're getting at least one Liyue character after that.
3 - There's been a trend with reruns where characters who's "signature weapon" was a pre-existing standard 5* would get a real signature weapon (whether it was 4* or 5*). There's a new bow being added this update which is 100% Ganyu's new BiS.
