I really dont think its that serious of a flaw, every character in media has some never ending ongoing joke to their character

this isnt something exclusive to Hoyo games and writing

like Paimon's "emergency food" joke is an ongoing joke and there is no reason to stop using it

or Trailblazer's trash and racoon joke, its a part of the character's identity now
just like with Kiana and tuna etc.
