The main reason this happened is because genshin has stuck with the same writing formula for every single archon quest of traveler going to a nation and resolving the nation problem with the region lore heavily revolving around the archons while the other characters are supporting characters who's lore barely matter in the archon quest story and they all work together to solve the problem but expected a different formula with Nathan cause it was sort of hearing the end and set an expectation for something different yet alas

Windbloom is for the meaning of the flower mentioned in the quest and know it's name origin (it's the least important) I kinda Forgot Durin was introduced in a timed summer event

It's generally still the same, the only reason it feels different is because they are dumping in most of the big wigs into the story cause they realized they fucked up by not revealing the important lores throughout 5 years of archon quest, yet even then a lot of characters never shined, like flins

Inazuma would've been a great opportunity to lore drop us on the actual origin and nature of visions but alas

All the major lore reveal is always pushed into the end of the archon quest in the form of a qna session
