honestly it felt pity that those gears only on hollow zero like you only play them once a week, then those character you have got "nerfed" when goes to normal commision, aside from that, there was a controversy regarding tv mode being removed, like some said its good that it got removed because it felt boring while others said it removed the identity of the game
as long the game doesn't have powercreep problem i guess for me its fine, devs already aware they will make some adjustment for the old characters which is a good choice so far

Whıle I cant say shit about HI3, that game has just horrible meta design and has been doomed since the start because of how the game was designed and it seems they don't want to bother changing it but continue milking it.
For HSR, as a gacha game they have to do certain things for the game's meta and evolution to go on throught game's lifetime. With the game being turn based, imo HSR having powercreep is just inevitable no matter how they design stuff. Though yeah, they could make it better by not making stuff like global passives etc
Genshin is way more casual with that because the game has a way simpler combat gimmick which is elemental reactions. Genshin does still have powercreep in terms of character mechanics and power in general, especially for its endgame (Abyss which is the only main endgame anyways). Though its not as noticeable because the game allows lots of options for you. Any content is clearable in Genshin as easy if you just build your characters right.
Its actually the same for HSR but its harder due newer enemies having mechanics that are made for newer characters. Also the turn based combat makes it more obvious unlike Genshin.
HSR could really use what ZZZ devs are doing rn and actually rework older characters, not only stats but their kit.
We will see how it really goes at 3.4 anyways but they are only saying "buffs" atm which indicates its gonna be mostly stats and numbers, not their kits.
They also count new support characters as a buff for the older characters. Like Sunday being super helpful for Jingyuan.

ZZZ seems to be the most seperate with newer devs and HI3 devs. They are def way more passionate about the game, also like these updates ZZZ is getting rn are like a must for the game continue to succeed.

Like for this, when you think about it every Hoyo dev team aren't actually as diffirent. Its just the fact that ZZZ still requires a ton of work and its just a bigger project than all of their other games. All of their games actually share the same layout in terms of features, QoL etc

Genshin gameplay wise is way easier when you just learn how elemental reactions work. The game requires skill in like very rare moments. Powercreep also exists in Genshin but for being such a fair easy combat system, its way unnoticeable. There is an obv change to some aspects in all of their games, also in storytelling.
They seem to want to look more into improvement. Hoyo always been perfectionist anyways with how they always try to deliver content as high quality as possible and immediatly go we will improve asap when they notice they fell short or the content they released didn't live to their expectations.
They are also known for legit stopping doing stuff without anyone noticing as soon as possible when they see player interaction is low on that thing.

i noticed it with genshin where spamming left click would fast foward some parts and not others, and vise versa when i started using the spacebar instead
