also the whole existence of P5X is basically to milk the P5 theme and also turn it into some kind of general Persona gacha game for a long time. Thats why the shadow versions thing you mentioned exists. So they can put known Persona characters into this game while still having its own cast of original characters etc.
they can basically also use it as collab with other IPs, its them in Persona 5 style. Thats like a cool thing and I think it would be fun to see.

this was also an argument in WuWa with Cantarella being able to swim faster, something people dont realize is WuWa has lots of other free exploration stuff such as gliding etc which makes it as fast as what 5* playable characters provide like Shorekeeper being able to turn into a butterfly and fly.

Saurians still dont keep up forever. Thats the part that frustrates me because the exploration is still bland without them. Like I only feel like Genshin doesn't help at all with the exploration which makes it overly grindy, frustrating to play and easy to burn out from. Again, this is mainly my experience with the game so I am not speaking in general but Genshin exploration doesn't have anything that makes me go oh yeah I want to explore more. There is something about Genshin exploration thats just unappealing idk how to specificially explain it. Also its not rewarding at all when you actually achieve something in exploration. Do all that for 10 primos. Now you have to find that thing a hundred more times to reach 10 pulls.

I think its also a part of Genshin's gameplay where character gameplay is more focused on elements and their ability than having movement. So like the character gameplay is already slow and exploration is complex. That does not make it fun.

So far Genshin introduced nothing else (they tried but left irrelevant) for their core-main gameplay even for exploration other than Natlan but even then thats still slow and very limited. Like Natlan exploration features outside of Natlan only last a few seconds and you can do nothing else for movement in exploration other than walking when the map is giant.

😭 yeah I am aware of that, I never took any Hoyo game more than a casual game. Even for HSR, I don't care about meta at all. For Genshin, meta only exists for the fun of it and when Abyss locks itself behind new character mechanics. Even as a casual game, Genshin exploration still makes me want to quit because its just not fun no matter what. I look at what I earned after all that exploration and its barely 10 pulls. I feel like I am doing all that for nothing even if I take my time to do so (which I have been doing for years, I still havent %100 Liyue)

I think for a game thats completely committed to the exploration part of the game and focuses on it, they barely improved anything since its release (gameplay and feature wise, I would never shit talk about Genshin's open world, visuals/art and lore)

Again I hate comparing but a reason why I have been enjoying WuWa exploration more and actually want to play it lately because exploration doesn't feel frustrating, characters are fast paced and have movement without forcing you to pull 5* characters that lock QoL exploration stuff. Also the fact WuWa exploration in general is just easy and feels more rewarding. I actually got Brant's weapon without spending money only because I explored. That is so not happening with Genshin when finishing exploring an area maybe only gives like 20 pulls max.
