imagine if MihoyoAnime and Wonderium are working together rn to make like a full series. So basically what happened with Arcane (Fortiche used to make a few trailers/MV for Riot, it evolved into making a full series)

while still not rendered ingame or with the Unity engine, its not an entirely new product since it still uses the base ingame models and such

also the art and animation quality with the mix of 3D and 2D isnt as the same as Wonderium's works

since they also make completely new models etc

production wise its def more expensive and takes way much more time but you already know how amazing the HI3 animated shorts are

MihoyoAnime currently works with Fantasier for their animated shorts in like HSR, ZZZ and like concept animation videos for HI3. All of the other stuff are inhouse since no extra studio are credited, atleast thats what that looks like since we dont know of any other animation studio that worked with Hoyo other than Wonderium and Fantasier.

(also Ufotable for the Genshin anime)

dont know if Fantasier works on Genshin animated shorts because their style is similar but they are never credited nor is MihoyoAnime.

Well MihoyoAnime is only used for Honkai titles anyways. ZZZ animated short had Fantasier but used Hoyoverse logo and not MihoyoAnime.

Genshin so far never showed Fantasier and only says Hoyoverse which indicates they are inhouse.
