it's just I wrapped up with the world quests for 4.2 recently, and a lotta the characters talk about going on their own adventures around teyvat, and I felt like I got deja vu for all the other times characters have said that to us in nations prior. Genshin always manages to find a convenient excuse that would encourage those characters to go on a journey of self-discovery on their own instead of with us, and every time this happens, I always think to myself "man, imagine if Genshin really did blindside us with a new traveling companion accompanying us" instead of the same dance routine over and over again.
