It wouldn't make sense for Ayin to place his 3 past loops to make the plan work. For that he would need to somehow plan to make at least 3 planned loops.

It would make more sense for him to use Id technology to manifest possible versions as a finall test before the seed of light. But then the chains won't make sense if they are not connected to the Id mechanism.
Faust also has the same chain that we use in mephistopheles but bigger in her ego. From that we can assume that it's not compeletly the Id thing but somehow can be connected to it.

But then it can just be cogito created by ||Carmens nervous system|| used to manifest Ayins other selfs. Which would make sense looking at the color difference.
