They want you to play a little amount every day because they want you to experience "Fear of missing out" over missing a day, but they also don't want you to play for long periods of time. A little bit a day means that while you feel frustrated every day, you never get frustrated enough to start hating the game - instead, you take approximately a day's break between each play session, allowing the frustration component of your brain to reset and thus extending your patience for the grind
