for Genshin, so far they are usually completely diffirent except there are so many times they feel similar aswell (Ayato, Raiden). I get why it doesn't matter for some if they are a variant or not in Genshin but like on HSR, thats the whole point.

Genshin variants aren't even a confirmed thing, its just that the design, VAs and some traits are similar to Honkai characters. HSR though thats the whole point that the characters are variants. I don't think its possible to appreciate Himeko in HSR without thinking of the original Himeko

Story horrible which already breaks it for me, characters aren't interesting to look at which makes me not even get excited for the gacha system, the overall game is too much broken, MMO aspect is cool with the bosses and other stuff but its more of like an advanced mobile MMO for being a gacha game rather than a real MMO. Not to mention the game isn't clean at all. I only like Hoyoverse games for the gacha because they are always clean and high quality.
