Try to use memories that charge PU gauge. If you have Red UR momo, then she can carry you on floor 3 with USJ bakugo and one more Red unit (preferrably Red Shigaraki or Red Kirishima UR)
Floor 1 and 2 are fairly easy with PU gauge up memories

Uhh if you are doing this tower for awakening mission mainly I suggest you to go to a different tower

Because this tower favors DST and STR characters

I have a lot of powerful characters and I am not sure if they are not needed for the S difficulty Plus Ultra VE Tower.
First floor - I have two characters that charge up the PU gauge for each other and Hawks can give one of the 3 present on battlefied a buff for PU's damage. Kurogiri is there to Evade all of the Shishikura's PUs because they are really annoying - if they hit you, they reduce your PU gauge to 0 even if you wanted to do it on the same turn. Kurogiri also reduces skill recharge with his second action skill I think. Sub section almost isn't needed but having a healing character fourth can be handy.
Second floor - the faster you beat it, the better. If you can, get the best memories which favor getting PU gauge and amplify PU damage. The enemy can also strike Fear into his enemies, so sometimes it becomes a true random mess where you don't know if your characters are ever gonna attack again. It can go from "I ignore Fear completely" to "I can't do anything until Fear vanishes off me". This stage is harder than the previous one so you better get a bit of support characters to place in the Sub section.
Third floor - the best choice is the UR STR characters and past their awakening point in the character upgrade book. You can't upgrade PU skill damage with character pieces sadly. This stage is "the faster the better" as well, but it's much harder because the characters also burn constantly. I won it in the first time with only Fantasy Deku remaining so that tells a lot...

id say try it out, they are quite different, mha ultra impact offers an easier gameplay but also needs some big brain thinking sometimes, mha the strongest hero offers several big locations where you can walk as your preferred characters and some better graphics and bigger reqs for them, but needs a lot of patience and a great internet connection.

these games are mainly gacha games so your luck is key - in MHATSH getting characters might be harder than in MHAUI, but thing is that the pity is high in both games. It's just in MHAUI you don't really need this one character to win, you can win with many others and some strong wit. In MHATSH there's not too many good characters to start with so almost all players try to stick with the Most Powerful Ones and there is a smaller variety.

MHAUI is more relaxing as you can either put the game on AUTO and relax or put it on pause and relax. Or even close the game and come back later, in some cases it'll let you come back to the fight.
MHATSH needs you here and now in the gamemodes with players and you can't put those on pause in any way. Bad internet connection can take away your prizes too if you were in coop gamemodes and internet broke during them. There's a bit of exploration in the big locations though as you can find clues and do quests.

If you are a fanfiction writer or just want to learn more about the MHA universe for whatever reasons and have run out of options, both games can be good for that. MHAUI offers a bunch of character voicelines on Japanese and fantastic memory cards.
MHATSH offers character dialogues, quests, daily quests and clues. Story mode can be counted as well I suppose as it doesn't follow the series' plot entirely.

MHAUI

the games have similar and different things to them so playing both might help you understand some things because they share them (as for example dormitory system)

they have different gameplay styles though. MHAUI has a turn-based gameplay and MHATSH has a realtime action gameplay respectively. Both have options to set the battle to Auto but not everywhere and not everywhere it will be useful.
Plus in MHATSH not all of characters have effective attack sequences when they are on auto mode which should be taken into consideration as there are 2 player-versus-player gamemodes where you can't control your characters and they fight on Auto.

I don't know why, but it looks like UR characters have much bigger PU damage, so try just putting all your ability board high UR characters there.
Kurogiri can help really well with the first floor! You just need to keep his first action skill for until the boss wants to use a PU.

First floor is also the longest time-wise for me though...

Because all characters do around 10k with their PUs unlike these UR chars that deal around 50k.

I don't know the tactics outside of this plain one. If you have UR characters, use them for PU.
Btw, I think I forgot to tell that you can roll a Plus Ultra gauge rate stat with EX upgrades. Forgot if it stood for memories or characters though. Also not sure about how does it work. But you can get some other PU-related buffs with EXes as well!
