One way is to get a Character Ticket. Complete the Beginner Event in the Event tab and you get a free Character Ticket. That should allow you to unlock the rapid (blue) Version of Hawks. The Strike Version (Red) you can only unlock through rolling or Events (if there is one that features him)

when you are in Ultra Rumble there should be a bar at the top and all the way to the right it says Event. if you go on there it shows you all the Events going on. The Beginner Event should have like a green Color and have Deku on it if i remember correctly. as for the Missions of that Event most of them are easy but some of them are a bit challenging

In the bar at the top of the Screen where you find the Event Tab theres also a Customize tab. Go into the Character Customisation and click on the Character youre playing. Then you should see a large array of Outfits. click on a Costume with a lock Symbol, you can buy that Costume with the ingame Currency. The other Costumes you see that are locked but dont have a lock symbol on them have to be rolled. When you bought the Costume you also have to manually put it on. Theres also a Quest to play one Match in the Costume you bought

once you have a Character ticket you can spend it to permanently unlock a Character. Some Characters can be bought with Character Tickets, but some can only be unlocked through rolls. Like i said the blue Version of hawks you can buy with a Character Ticket, the red Version has to be rolled

The Blue Version (also called Rapid) is supposedly focused on speed, while the red one (also known as Strike) is focused on doing alot of Damage. The Rapid Version of Hawks is arguably worse than the red one since he like all Rapid Characters has less health to compensate for his Speed

right now theres no Banner specifically for red Hawks, but you can pity him from a few of the current Banners. If you get 200 Pity Points, you could get him (you get 10 Pity points for spending 100 Tickets on a Banner). So if you want to pity red hawks right now either spend on the Mirio Banner, Overhaul Banner or Suppot Nejire Banner. Avoid the Tokoyami and Tamaki Banner since you can only pity the blue Version from those and thats a waste

I honestly suggest that you shouldn't focus on tuning until you get a PUR costume

The one you're getting is Rapid

He already got nerfed several times but he did get a buff regarding his beta

I say he's still good to play regardless. Just not as "meta".

It was exaggerated. It’s just not enough to fill a lobby. It’s basically the bots setting the spawn at the start point because for this mode there is nothing else needed. While humans are bored and move around even the tiniest bit.

My teammate noticed the things I do whenever using Strike Hawks as someone who's played him for months

• Whenever flying, I tend to use alpha to get me further after using gamma.

If already in the air and instead falling, I still use alpha regardless since it doesn't slow me down or stop me.

• I level up alpha first instead of beta or gamma since I use alpha a lot more than beta or gamma whenever it comes to combos.

• Whenever using team heals or potions I tend to fall and then use shift (special action) so I can fly while drinking. I do this in more hidden spots in where less people would notice such as behind the wall, on the ceiling in a corner, etc.

• I don't use gamma completely and instead early so I can alpha and if they use early wake up, I gamma again fully instead.

Etc. Etc.

I downed two people in a row with his beta once and thats because I was able to aim right

In short words he's genuinely fun to play but he's incredibly overlooked

Honestly I'm just glad to be the one to actually bring out the light in him and even got him only (didnt use anyone else) to ace rank

I feel bad for betraying Tokoyami, but I feel like the reliance on your team members is too demanding

plus, I always like being support characters rather then being the one on the frontlines

the only things I can do consistently that you can rely on is beta then alpha

but hitting a beta is situational for me

he has great melee potential
