A good strat is to save your stamina. When you get above 999 your stamina goes into your gift box on the main menu. So then you can save your stam until the weekends.

The reason its good to save your stam for weekends is because every weekend there are 2x loot from main quest missions, so you can use all of that stamina while that's going on and get a lot more resources from your stamina

This is what many people (including me) do so that we can finish our boards as fast as possible
