the new engines have a split between 50% power and 50% battery which makes battery more important, drivers dont like it cause it pretty much becomes a game of who can manage better instead of actually driving, there was a proposed idea of making newer engines for 2027 having a 60% power and 40% battery split so they still fit the idea behind the new regulations but make it more fit to what formula one is which is the fastest cars and fastest drivers
before that i believe it was 80% power and 20% battery
