The timeframe is roughly ~5 year before Izuku enters U.A. and features cameos from Pro Heroes such as Eraser Head before he became a teacher.

It just feels kinda random since he's been usin non lethal shots for most of the arc. Heck the plan was to quote, knock the guy out. Which would mean he'd have it at a certain level for such blasts. Even if you could argue that their talk about pop got him to lose himself to go on full offensive, it becomes null when this whole arc has been about him trying to protect pop from getting killed.

-there's a flashback to an underground fighting ring that iwao took down w/ the help of rappa and miruko, where afo was using it as a way to figure out more quirks to pick up. we see hood too!
-6 launches a major attack on naruhata and causes a blackout, and then actively controls his new set of drones to attack the hospital kazuho is at. he manages to get in, but is stopped by tsukauchi, soga, and koichi. koichi is sent to go get all might, but turns back because he's aware that 6 can take down his friends before he could reach a spot to contact AM.
-koichi confronts 6 and a fight breaks out. we get the reveal that rokuro nomura was a persona based specifiically on koichi. either way, koichi manages to down 6, but remembers when kazuho told him to not use lethal shots and misses 6. 6 retaliates but koichi survives getting blasted by using the replusion force of slide and glide. koichi is currently drawing out 6 in hopes that heroes can get there in time to help protect pop

Here's what we know for sure:
-The events take place sometime in-between All Might and All For One's fight (Year 0), and when Midoryia enters UA (Year 6 AB (After Battle)).
-The first two acts of Vigilantes (Ch. 1-65) take place over the course of a whole year, starting in early Summer, and concluding around April the following year, with the third act (Ch. 66-present), occurring in the Summer two years later.
My original guesstimate was that the start of the series would be about 2 years after the Battle, meaning the current arc would be during Year 5 AB, also known as Midoryia's final year of middle school/during his training with All Might, mainly since nothing seemed to contradict this approach, and it felt thematically relevant to have this series' ending intersect with the main series' beginning.
However, the thing that turned me around is the current flashback mini arc, in which we get an appearance from Mirko.
Her age during the bulk of the main series (Year 6 AB) is 26.
The flashback takes place 7 years before the events of Vigilantes' current arc.
If we go under the assumption that takes place in Year 5 AB, where she'd be 25, minus 7 years, becomes 18.
In the flashback, she is a high school student, so it could fit, however it is clear she doesn't have her license yet, which she wouldn't get until about halfway through her 2nd year, so at the absolute oldest she should be 17.

I think the theory that No. 6 was originally a replacement body for AFO and he was given Overclock to test its brain processing applications in controlling quirks (AFO is wary of Quirk Singularity) is all or mostly true but I'd like to see it confirmed.

ah, i think he was a prototype new breed of bioweapon for afo, since afo had already adopted tomura by the time he got his hands on overclock. i'm partial to the idea that overclock is incredibly hard for someone to hold, so they needed a brand new body to be capable of holding it

A bioweapon is possible too. We already know Nomu were a thing before No. 6 got Overclock but maybe AFO wanted a new type of weapon that can blend into a crowd, think for itself and perform complex orders like infiltrate a police station, etc. But a big problem with that theory is where are the other Numbers? Buuut that can be explained if they are all undercover somewhere else (government agent, police agent, U.A traitor, etc.).
