koichi is my favorite out of the trio. he's selfless and doesn't care much about fame: he avoids it and just wants to FEEL like a hero and help those in need. he's kind of like spiderman but smarter

I do enjoy Kazuho's character writing, but frankly I just don't know if it's even right to call her much of a vigilante, I mean every time there's a battle she takes part in, she either just observes or indirectly helps Koichi in the process. I mean the main reason she does dress up like that is A to stand out in front of her crowd and B to hide her identity

I never really saw a proper reason to be annoyed by Kazuho's character, she chose her life as a vigilante knowing the stakes, she helped the best way she could in any battle as someone who isn't the greatest at combat, she grew as a person by shifting to legal and permitted events, and it's only natural for characters to have flaws that progress the story, with hers mainly being her hesitancy in confessing to Koichi not just her liking for him but also her being the reason he didn't make the test.

the author was fairly clever in how he did his friend's death too. when he was hit by the rubble, he made it seem like nothing. but in actuality, it was fatal, and it just shows you anything bad can happen at the least expected times
