Who knows maybe it's scrapped now

PvP for OW2 is pretty much a 2.0 update for OW1. PvE in OW2 is the new game they will be selling.

They are adding new maps, new heroes, a ping system, a new core gamemode, reworked heroes such as tank Doomfist etc.

It's all the content that could have been in OW1 already but getting released all in one as an entire update.

I mean true but also who knows how successful OW2 PvP will be. Its a complete rework to characters and game especially with 5vs5. After all people love OW, its just the game stayed too bland for years that no one wanted to play anymore. With the rework and game being fresh as ever again, it could change.

if they didn't develop OW2 PvP first then the game would be extreme dead by 2023. I am happy they seperated PvE and PvP development. I can wait for PvE while enjoying PvP.
