I personally didnt like the demo and quit it 5 mins in. However, I feel I need to play from the very beginning and not be tossed in with characters in the 20s. I was confused on what I was doing

1). Some story beats are resolved a bit too quickly. Like, some major problems are solved literally the next day. Which is odd, because there’s other beats that don’t do this and are always in the background so it’s a bit jarring to see those 2 side by side.

2). The Tales of Arise cash shop is a bit pay to win. It not only sells costumes, but actual levels, actual currency, and boosts for both (along with some items). You can definitely play the game ignoring the shop entirely, but the fact the option there just kinda leaves a small sour feeling. But this has existed in previous Tales Games so
