I feel like easy-modes are for people who want to enjoy the story, world, and artwork over the actual gameplay.
Tbh, this is why I always play on Normal / Casual. Hard enough that I have to think about mechanics but easy enough to enjoy the world without getting overly frustrated.

At he end of the day it's a game. It shouldn't feel like a chore; it should be fun and enjoyabe!

ahh i see, yeah i was never into strategy games. played a lot of fifa when i was 15/16 and then like a month before Rocket League got f2p i started with it and like progressed really good so i started playing esports like 3 months ago

not bad. i played dota 2 for 5 years from 2012 til 2017. made plans with some online friends to move into the amateur scene and maybe go pro, but work and my school education to go into daycare work made me decide to go for the more stable career @limber moon

thats fair enough^^ after the plans to go into the amateur scene fell flat, i used my experience to coach new players, while i slowly fazed out of playing dota actively. in the end it was just too much and i kinda burnt out on it

basically it all started with the original dota mod on warcraft 3.

then some of the devs of the mod were bought out by riot, closed the dota all stars forum (name of the first dota mod) and basically took fan-written ideas from that closed forum to design lol champs for riot.

icefrog, one of the og dota mod devs, went to valve to create dota 2 with them

so riot tried to ruin any attempt at a stand-alone dota game coming out, but icefrog going to valve helped that to succeed. the history of riot and lol is RLY muddy when it comes to that
