i think i did end up just picking another option and i did reach the end of the demo

I doubt PvE is returning but this implies we will now have story beats in-game but I wonder how

I am surprised they actually managed this really well

They made it so the Null Sector threat is gone but still exists and can return in the future now that they want to focus on Talon. This is a great comeback after the fact PvE story won't continue so they had to conclude this arc to start a new.

Like I am actually impressed how far the game come after the PvE cancellation and how they are still determined enough to continue this game's story.
