I’ve mentioned it in chat before, 4 it’s important to me coz it was like the first game I pre ordered let alone bought with my own money. So I’m happy to see it get a remake, but at the same time idk if I need it in a 5 engine. The 5 engine to me is better, but like I can’t muster up that much interest in the remake

I already see the original re playable as it is, and I prefer the aesthetic, even if 5s engine plays better. But also this is kinda needed if I want more people to experience 4 because the old chibi overworld makes the game unplayable to a lot of people

The main reason I hear people not completing the game is because it feels old, and yeah, honestly for a 2008 game it was outdated on release

I’m not one of those that can’t tell the difference between 60fps and 30fps but like, what the frame rate of a game is at, aslong as it doesn’t look broken has never been a concern to me

And I genuinely cannot wrap my head around it being an issue to anyone

Guess it really depends on the type of game it is, for example you can play Minecraft just fine in 30fps but imagine playing a Sonic game, games about speed, precision, acceleration and momentum, at 30fps

Some people also just get used to high fps and if it suddenly drops on another game if feels off and weird

I for one feel weird when playing stuff in less than 60 I play some rythm games so yeah it is very different
