The only mention of the previous champions/beasts is indirect with Sidon showing link a statue of them fighting together
The story is dull and repetitive, every cutscene is exactly the same verbatim, you can overlap all the cutscenes about the secret stones and they sync lmao
Despite having an untold amount of hype and build up in note, the zonai turned out to just be two people that may as well have just been humans since we learn nothing of their people besides their technology
And worst of all? WORST of all? The complete and utter erasure of my guy Kass, literally erased from existence like wtf? Where's my goat Nintendo?????

Also Ganon does fuck all

Zelda faces zero consequences for performing a "forbidden" ritual and just gets mind blasted by Sonia and Raru into being normal again (big fan of every fan artist under the sun believing she should have remain half draconic and drawing her that way)
