But have multiple multiple districts. so the train (GC) takes you to the city centre, you can go on the bus (Wii), but it only takes you one stop at a time, the taxi (DS) costs, but takes you straight to the district you want.

On your island, the boat (NL) takes you to the themed islands. The plane (NL) takes you to other peoples islands. If you are in the city, you can just go to the station and take the new vehicle; bullet train for the same function as the plane.
