I'm wondering because I did play through the first one, beat it, and beat most of the optional bosses (e.g. Ruby/Emerald Weapon) too. It took a really long time. And while I love the remake series, I'm just wondering if, graphics aside... there's a point? Like I might get it and let my wife play through it (she never played the original but ships TF outta Cloud/Sephiroth). But also it seems to have combat more like FF15 which I like better than menu-based/turn-based... (I don't even have a PS5)
