I've seen tons of Skyrim cart ride glitches, but never experienced one.

Opening sequence is awesome... once. After that I recommend, on PC, using the museum mod Legacy of the Dragonborn and its build list. It will take some time and effort to get right, but once you do, it's like a whole other game. Use the alternate start and set yourself up as part of the explorers guild. Do the main Skyrim stuff whenever you want, between explorers guild stuff. Legacy has a sequel, but I don't know anything about it. But what we got is good.

Also, Enderal exists if you thought Skyrim was too easy and/or too PG/safe/whatever other term. Enderal is like better Skyrim. It has radiation from Fallout (as magic), areas aren't leveled, it's generally harder (Skyrim grandma rage quit the intro), but it's way more rewarding and has a cooler story. Built off the same engine, so if you own Skyrim on Steam, you can get Enderal very easily on the same platform.

I've been playing the hell out of Starfield. Basically Fallout in space, but not really. No radiation, not really post-apocalyptic (except parts of the main story), no real Vaults, and none of the trademark Fallout snark. But you got guns, and instead of building settlements, you build ships, which you can explore... and then fly in, and then fight in.

Ugh, I want to love BG3. I already know how to play it because I know how to play D&D. I just don't like top-down and turn-based. Bought it to support the developer and D&D and what I thought was the right way to make a game, but it's not the kind of game I want to play. I'll give it another chance at some point.

First time I avoided that one character option (I forget the name, something like "unfathomable deep," you know the one) but now it calls to me. I really wanna see how evil I can be, but I don't feel like my D&D archetype (wood elf rogue thief) plays that well to it. I should probably go with fighter and dual class into sorcerer and let that get big, go as a battle mage or something. Naturally Dragonborn because I think I remember liking their sorcerer benefits (plus the breath attack is cool).
