in Japan, to be a Mangaka is the final title you recieve in your journey of making comics. Its a title to earn and put effort into hold onto it. The procedures are like getting it through hurdles like editors, going to school for it or being an assistant for another author first. It is considered rude to claim yourself a mangaka just by posting your comics online, the title given to these authors are Doujinsha (Indie Person).
