This is meant to function with physics and all that, as after using his ice powers, Shouto gets cold. However, that makes literally zero sense. "Coldness" is just a mumbo jumbo way of saying something is lacking a considerable amount of thermal energy, and to create ice, you would have to displace that thermal energy, in other words, you would need to heat up something else. We can clearly see that the heat is not being displaced to the surrounding area, and thus the only other logical place it could go is Shouto himself. So, logically speaking, using his Ice Quirk should make Shouto HOTTER, not colder.
A similar thing applies to his fire quirk. This is an extremely poor attempt at writing something Horikoshi clearly knows nothing about. It's extremely unprofessional and leaves a poor impression on anyone who didn't fail physics.

Hey I talk about MHA a lot tbf. It's different to other shows that I like more, such as JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, as I have nothing to seriously discuss, such as complaints. However, with MHA, I think there are many problems and interesting points for discourse surrounding the series. While I have latched onto SOME of the characters (I shall probably get into that soon), I still have major gripes with the series in general. And, as a fan of the series (I would say), it is for the benefit of everyone in the community to point out flaws so that we can demand better for ourselves and overall allow us to raise the standard of literature produced
