One thing ive found about generative AI is that why is there such a discrepancy on AI generated content in the west and AI generated content in japan. Why and how are Japanese X accounts able to produce more concise and consistent artstyles with generative ai, then the west?

What I started to notice was that a lot of these posters, already drew themselves. So it was already talented/skill people just putting stuff into the AI to give alternate takes of the artwork.

Where as western AI bros, they are putting prompted art into another prompt, which is the whole generative ai cannabilism thing, where it’s feeding on itself and in turn generating ass and slop.

So what ive found is, even with generative ai, you cannot get good results you want, unless you draw yourself. So I tested it myself by feeding my stuff into AI to remix illustrations or animate my illustrations, and from the first result with no learning, I had almost indisputably better looking results than any of the slop I’ve seen by AI bros.

So what ive learnt is, it’s not even actually that good at producing consistent art, unless the person feeding the prompt actually is knowledgeable about art and feeding it their own talent. Even with prompts you need to be knowledgeable on art terminology to get actual good results, which why I think I, and other japanwse X artists are actually getting good results.

Just an odd finding I found because Ai art is going to replace humans discussion, but it seems like it needs a human artist at the control centre for it to even spit anything remotely decent.
