I think the early 'problem' that people have with Vigilantes is that it doesn't hit action right off the rip and maintain it like too many new Shonen shows today. Its more slice of life as the plot starts to cook. Now that we're in S2, things will start progressing nicely

IMO, the first season is a GREAT intro into the world and characters, I wouldn't change anything about it. Im personally really looking forward to how the story continues this season

Which is really sad that people are pushed away by that. Local community is such a strong theme in vigilantes and you can only do that with the strong character foundations we see
