A few questions regarding fools. Is claiming fool (while being fool) gamethrowing? If the fool is outed by vigi or seer, can they "choose" a team to help in voting? I've read all the rules and understand almost all of it, just the fool role is difficult. I think it is gamethrowing to admit to being fool, but what is the fool supposed to do after they've been outed? Is it okay to kill an outed fool as a jailer or vigi?

Claiming fool directly is considered gamethrowing, when there is killing villager roles left alive.
Esp a gunner/vigi could shoot you right away which ofc results in your loss, so claiming that is bad.

They can indeed choose who to vote and side with freely. Asking for roses to sway your votes and such, is not allowed.
And an outed fool still isnt a villager so yes jailer, vigi etc are free to kill them, though i would suggest it is often a waste since you should worry more about wws.

I don’t think so. I’ve had a game where the village won the moment all werewolves, solo killer and the instigator recruits were dead, but the instigator was still alive. It might be a bug, but I’m not sure.

It was decided that it just generally made it far too easy for them I believe. Wolves have the alpha private message and an entire night chat they can use to plan out and prepare for it, so them not outright seeing each other's votes is just a small nerf that can easily be avoiding with communication.

Veteran bonus means if you meet those requirements you get a special common card that instantly unlocks the advanced role

If you were banned for your username it might take some days until you are able to change it again in settings via the known method using 100 gold so not being able to do so it related to the ban. Other reasons could be that the name is taken now.

How to appeal an in-game ban?

To appeal an in-game ban you need to open a ticket with a guardian.

• Open the "?" on main screen, then on "talk to a guardian". You'll be led to the ticket menu

After, you choose "appeal my ban" and read and accept the information following by clicking on "create". Your ticket is now opened and you can explain your request.

Please be patient, the guardians will reply as soon as they are able to, if it comes to discussions do not be rude or your ban will not be taken away.

Not giving info as seer can lead to someone else claiming your role, you not being trusted if you claim late, the village and other seeing roles not having any base who was already checked, who might be proven by you etc. so that can be Gamethrowing and I wouldn't suggest using that as a strategy. Anyways keep in mind it always depends on each situation.

The best way to avoid getting banned would be giving both the rules and FAQ a read, you find those by pressing on -> Rules / FAQ. If you choose to ignore the rules, you can expect to get reported which can lead to bans.

I'm not looking for personal data (plus I'm hoping that'd be encrypted), but more I'm interested in a statistical point of view. something I can query against for various questions "how often do ww win when seer dies first round" "of couple wins, how many had both non-killer lovers" and again, not looking for personal data, but if users could just be listed as just numbers, how unluck is the unluckiest player (i.e. how often does the unluckiest player get killed on the first night).

I would imagine that they don't store that much detailed information, they would be looking at KPIs and pick rates, for personal data, you could do a FOI request if you're British or American; I am not aware of a way we can see general statistical data though, however I would certainly like to see it.

Do they even store # nights a game lasted? another random question is "how often does HH win on the first day", because in my experience, it's either win on first day as HH or don't win at all. There is a difference between "I have to spend a lot of time" and "Spending a lot of time has benefits". If you don't want to spend a lot of time playing the game, you can still play the game, just because advanced roles might be locked for some people and not for some others, doesn't mean that they have any advantage in game, it's supposed to be fun! Role cards are not there to give players who invest time or money into the game an unfair advantage. You can still play casually, you can still access the game and all gamemodes normally, you just have the option to play a different role here and there if you have enough cards. It's not a shame to not finish a battle pass, it's not a shame to take two weeks to finish a clan quest and it's also not a shame to not have certain role cards or less cards than others. 🤷

Essentially, Bodyguard generally protects information roles to keep info going. Seer Apprentice instead lets the info roles die and becomes one instead.

Well, First of all, the game ToS and rules say that you should not transfer your account to another person or make this available for someone under 13 years old, so account sharing is generally not allowed.
If you mean by stealing they take your account change email and password, sending an email to the support is worth a try, I'm not sure if they will help you further as you did it on your own risk and sharing accounts is as I mentioned before not allowed.
