There's the tutorial. But Werewolf is a complicated game to learn. So it's better that new players see experienced players play. Players that will callout rule breaking or mistakes, and teach.

@glass knot @cosmic void It's a little more complicated than that, leaving during the countdown isnt supposed to be a suicide, the button is still there after all.
But it's a very short time to leave and it can happen that your avatar gets stuck in the game, while you pressed that x... So after being offline too long in that game it will suicide you.

The forger can make items. Each item will take one day to make.
First, they can make 2 shields, then they can make a sword. But they must have given out their previous item before making a new one.
So a time line might look like:
Forge (craft) shield -> give shield -> Forge shield -> give shield -> forge sword -> give sword 😉
